So, now this match of Ashes is going through some
interesting times. Well, first Australians decided to bat first after winning the
toss. But they lost first wicket early as Stuart Broad took the wicket of Charles.
DA Warner scored 49 runs after getting
out on the bowl bowled by Broad. Broad was quite impressive in this test match
he took 6 wickets. Middle order of Australia was total failure as they could
not able to make much runs. MJ Clarke, the captain, got out on 1 run. His
wicket was taken by broad.
But in the end Haddin showed some good performance and
scored 94 runs. He was assisted by MG Johnson, who surprisingly scored 64 runs.
And their partnership was crucial in this whole event. Finally Australia was
able to score 295 runs. Along with Broad, Anderson was also a good bowler.
England came to batting, but they have to face much worse bowling
attacks as compared England. MJ Johnson, bowling attack was lethal on that day.
Carberry was the only player in the England who could score decent and runs
scored are 40. Rest of the players could able to face the fast bowling attack
of Australian side. Harris and Johnson took 3 and 4 wickets respectively.
