First day for India, went quite well, thanks to the bowling
that was done by the bowling side. West indies, won the toss and elected to bat
first. But West Indies the start was not good and they lost their first wicket
(Gayle) at just 30 runs. And then Indian bowling side took wickets on the
regular basis also. The new player Mohammed Shami was really promising and he took
4 wickets.
MN Samuels was the star performer from the West Indies side.
He scored 65 runs and helped the Indies side to reach a total of 234 runs. At the
day end, India was at 37 runs with no loss of wickets. So as far as performance
of the Indian side, is concerned, they are doing quite good and now it is turn
of the Indian batting side to show some good performance, let see how they do
it, because the pitch is favoring the bowling side, especially the spin
bowlers.
On the second day, India will look towards, making a good
score. 400+ score will be good for the India. Then only the result of the match
will come.
