Kenya came for batting first, but their start was very bad. The top order was a
complete failure for them and none of the player could able to score double
figures runs. And the losing confidence in their coming players was beleaguered
by the strong bowling attack of Afghanistan. Izatullah Dawlatzai, Sayed Shirzad,
Yamin Ahmadzai from the Afghanistan did very good bowling and three of them
took two wickets each. So Kenya in total was able to score 162 runs.
Batting second, Afghanistan showed some good batting play.
Their one player named as Rahmat Shah scored century. He scored 144 runs which
included 5 sixes and 14 fours. But Afghanistan middle order was complete
failure as they could not score well. From Kenya side RG Aga was the star
bowler as he took 5 wickets in 16 over and took most of the wickets for team.
In second innings Kenya scored 140 runs and that were
easily chased by the Afghanistan while losing only two wickets. So Afghanistan is
the winner of this first class match.
