So in the first semi final of this year champions league,
Royals were taking on super kings. Since kings won the toss and decided to
field first, Royals had a good start as AM Rahane played really well. But all
other players in their team did not played as per the level they should and
whatever total they made, its credit goes to the Rahane. He scored 70 runs out
of 87 balls which included 2 sixes and 6 fours. SR Watson also contributed in a
big manner, as he scored 32 runs in 27 balls. From the Chennai side, DJ Bravo
took 3 wickets.
Now Kings came for batting. Their opening pair could not
able to do any type of fireworks and hence, the fall of wickets on the continuous
basis started. Middle order was complete failure in this match. And may be this
could be the reason why kings lost this match. But in last indeed we saw some
good efforts from R Ashwin as he scored 46 runs out of 35 balls.
So Finally Royals won the match and they are looking good
for winning this title.
