A very normal match this was! To strong teams were playing against each other, Chennai Supper Kings-Trinidad & Tobago. T & T won the toss and decided field first. Batting first, Chennai super kings were not that good in their batting.
Their opening partnership did not take place for long. Only three players could able to score in double figures Raina, Dhoni and vijay. And other batsman could not perform much. Due to this Chennai super kings posted mere total of 118 runs.
This can also be seen as that; the bowling attack by the T&T was really good as they bowled really well and restricted the player to less total. From their side Rampual, Emrit and Simmons took good wickets.
Since chasing the score was not so difficult, the opening player of T&T, chased it quickly, with just loss of two wickets. Simmons and Lewis scored most of the runs and they scored 63 and 38 runs respectively. Simmons was the star performer for their side. So by this win, T&T reached top of the group.
