The Perth Scorchers joined the league in the year 2012. As of now it does not portray a very promising statistics. Out of the four matches it played last year it has emerged victorious in only one, losing two and making a tie with the other team in another match. Due to the gradual breakdown in its performance it has not made to the semi- finals as well. However, one can only wish the best for this team and expect that they put up a good fight and make a comeback in this year. It is teamed in the group A of the league with other famous teams.
