A close match indeed, with Guyana Amazon Warriors beating Jamaica
Tallawahs by 5 runs. The top order of Guyana Amazon Warriors performed
exceptionally well and all three top players Lendl Simmons, Martin Guptill, James
Franklin scored 30, 39 and 40 runs respectively. The bowling department of the
Jamaica was little bit looked diverted in the beginning and thus the Guyana
played really good to put a score of 139 runs with the loose of 6 wickets. The last
players of their team could not perform as they should have.
Now Jamaica had to chase a total of 139 runs to win this game.
So again we saw a fantastic innings by the hitter Chrish Gayle. He made 43 runs
after being bowled by the Krishmar Santokie. Then, Chadwick Walton came in and
he played some great shots and slowly the push score of Tallawahs to the
winning point. But when he got out at
the score of 36 runs now of the player could actually play great short. And the
ball remaining to score the remaining chasing runs was very less. And they
could not able to score 139 runs and the whole team was able to score only 134
runs, 5 short of target. Sunil Narine was exceptional in bowling as he gave
just 10 runs in 4 over spell and he took one wicket.
