So Finally Antigua Hawksbills strikes back. They defeated the much stronger team in the CPL league this time. Barbados tridents came to bat first, but this time it was looking that Antigua team is in little bit different mood. The top order of the tridents was totally thrashed by the Antigua Bowling side. None of the batsman seemed to tackle the bowling attack of the Sheldon Cotterrell. He took four crucial wickets and gave just 20 runs in the 4 over. Some of the key players of tridents like Smith, Pollard failed to fire this time. Raymon Reifer was the only star performer as he scored 30 runs. So they could just able to score the mere total of 97 runs.
Now Hawksbills had to chase a total of 97 runs to win this match. Their start was also too week and they lost the opening batsman in quick succession. But then Orlando Peters managed to score 31 runs and this big runs contribute towards the winning total of 98 runs that Hawksbills scored with loss of 5 wickets. Although the performance of Hawksbills in terms of batting was not that great, it is just that total was so low to chase and they won. Now Hawksbills have ignited some hope after winning this match.
