India has won the 2nd match of the 5 match series
between India and Zimbabwe. India won this match by 58 runs as the Zimbabwe
side could not able to chase the score of 298 run that was set by the Indian
side. Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to field first. And in the hours of the
play it was looking that there decision of fielding is going to be very good as
Indian team lost some of their wickets early as Rohit Sharma got out at just 1
and Virat Kohli on 14. But the splendid batting by the Shikhar dhawan was the star
attraction in this match. He was able to score 116 runs and that too with 127
he played to score these much runs. More importantly he was the one who
controlled the fall of wickets for the Indian team. On the other Dinesh Kathik
too played very well and scored 69 runs and India gave a target of 298 runs to
Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe started really well and V sibanda scored half century,
but then none of the other player expect the ‘P Utseya’ could able to score big
and they just managed to score 236 runs in the 50 over and with 1 wicket
remaining. JD Unadkat from India did very good bowling and took 4 wickets.
