1. Brendon Kuruppu (201* Runs)

Brendon Kuruppu, a former Sri Lankan wicket keeper-opener, made a spectacular Test debut by hitting a hundred in his test debut. He scored unbeaten 201 runs against Australia at Colombo (SSC) in 1992. He scored more than 201 runs which are more than the total of Sri Lanka innings, the match was drawn but it is worth remembering that moment. In his test career, he played 4 matches and scored 320 runs with an average of 53.33. His last test match was played against England at Lord's on Aug 22, 1991.

2. Romesh Kaluwitharana (132*)

Romesh Kaluwitharana, a former wicket-keeper batsman, scored a hundred in his test debut for Sri Lanka against Colombo (SSC) in 1992. He is another wicket keeper from Sri Lanka who had done this feat by making undefeated 132 runs from just 158 balls with 26 boundaries. For Sri Lanka, he has contributed in the 49 test matches and added 1933 runs at an average of 26.12 with 3 hundred and 9 fifties. 3. Thilan Samaraweera (103* Runs)

Thilan Samaraweera, a former right-handed all-rounder, is the 3rd batter who had made a hundred on test debut for Sri Lanka. He made a test debut against India at Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo in 2001 where he added a record of undefeated 103 runs off 175 balls with 10 boundaries, Sri Lanka won that match by 77 runs. He had a good test record as he played 81 test matches and scored 5462 runs at an average of 48.77 with 2 double hundreds, 14 hundred, and 30 fifties.

4. Pathum Nissanka (103 Runs)

Pathum Nissanka, a top-order right-handed batsman, is another Sri Lankan who has done this feat. He made his debut against West Indies at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Mar 21, 2021, when Sri Lanka visited Windies, where he made 103 runs from 252 balls with 6 boundaries. As of November 2021, he has played 5 test matches and scored 288 runs from 8 innings at an average of 36.0 with 1 century and 2 half centuries.
