The first test match between South Africa and Pakistan will be played on 14th October 2013 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. This is not the first time when both the teams are playing against one another. In early February too, both the teams had played against one another with Pakistan losing all the three test matches. But this time Pakistan seems to be a little strong and they will definitely try their best to win the matches. They will not repeat the same mistakes again but have patience and work according to the game plan. Before both the teams get ready to play the main test match, they will be playing a practice match and therefore they will reach UAE on 5th October.
The success record of Pakistan against South Africa has not been so good as earlier they had lost the three test matches but this time they will surely perform well and make sure that the players come into form quickly. As the players have not played matches for a long time, hence they may come across problems during the first day of the match. Even South Africa hasn’t played any matches since February and it is expected that the players may be out of form. So both the teams can take the advantage of this factor and target the players to get quick wickets.
Test matches are usually played for five days but sometimes it may also end early depending on the conditions of the match. Only a few days are left for the series to get started, hence the players are working on their fitness and also focusing on their skills. No team will want to compromise with their performance and that is why they are working hard to suppress the opposition. Hope the match turns out to be an exciting one for the cricket fans.
