The Cricketer named George Bailey was born in the year 1982 on 7th of September. The man made his international debut for Australia on 16th March, 2012 against West Indies and his international T20 debut on 1st February 2012 against India. George John Bailey bats right – handed and even rolls his arms over with some right – arm medium pacers. George Bailey who is also nicknamed Hector and Geronimo by his team mates is one of the major batting stay that the present Australian team has. George replaced Cameroon White as the captain of the Australian T20 team without have even played any international match before. The only other Australian to have done this feat is Dave Gregory.
George Bailey started his cricketing career for South Launceston Cricket Club where he played the majority of his junior cricket. Then he got himself promoted to the domestic team of Tasmania in the 2005-2006 seasons. The next big thing that happened to the man was the match that he played for Australia against the All Stars team. George was appointed the captain of Tasmania replacing Daniel Marsh during the 2009-10 seasons. George made his name in the first international game he played as a captain where he scored 89 runs to give Australia a victory of 107 runs against Sri Lanka. Presently George is associated with the Australian National Cricket Team, Tasmania, Chennai Super Kings and Melbourne Stars. George Bailey is the present captain of the Australian ODI and T20 team. The man hails from Launceston in Tasmania.
