England and Wales Cricket Board has ultimately disclosed that they will go to West Indies in the month of December 2023 for playing the 5 T20I series against West Indies. All the timetables including dates, and venues for the West Indies vs England T20 series 2023 have been confirmed by the Cricket West Indies in May 2023.
The decided stadiums for the WI vs Eng T20 series 2023 are Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, National Cricket Stadium, St. George's, & Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad, and Tobago. The T20 series between West Indies and England will take off with the first T20 on 12 December 2023 at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, then both teams will move to National Cricket Stadium, St. George's in order to compete for the 2nd and 3rd T20I on 14th December and 16th December 2023. Afterward, the 4th and 5th T20I of the series will be held in Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago on 19th December and 21st December 2023.
Most probably, the current skipper of the West Indies T20 squad, Rovman Powell will take the responsibility of captain under the guidance of Andre Corey whereas Jos Buttler will take charge of the English team under the coaching for the upcoming T20 series between WI and Eng. Rovman Powell is an experienced T20 expert who has appeared in more than 50 T20Is and added 800+ runs for his team. On the other hand, Jos Buttler, the wicketkeeper-batsman of England is also an explosive batter who has appeared in 100+ T20Is with more than 2500 runs in his T20I career. In terms of ICC ranking in T20I, England is sitting at the 2nd position whereas West Indies holds the 7th position.
