In the month of February 2022, the four teams Ireland, Oman, Nepal, and United Arab Emirates are all set to take part in the Oman Quadrangular T20 series. As the name implies, Oman will be the hosting nation for this T20 competition and this T20I tournament will span from 11 Feb to 14 Feb 2022. The tournament will serve as a warm-up for all of the contesting squads ahead of the T20 World Cup Global Qualifier Group A, which will commence on February 18, 2022. There are a total number of 6 matches among the 4 teams and all the T20I will be held at the same venue i.e Al Amerat Cricket Stadium, Muscat.
The Oman Quadrangular series 2022 will start with the first T20 international match between Ireland and the United Arab Emirates on 11 Feb 2022 and the series will end with the last match on 14 Feb 2022 at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium, Muscat. Ireland, Nepal, and UAE have disclosed their squad and Oman is yet to be announced.

Sandeep Lamichhane will take command of the Nepal T20 team with their coach Pubudu Dassanayake. The United Arab Emirates will compete in the Oman Quadrangular series 2022 under the leadership of Ahmed Raza and their coach will be Robin Singh, an Indian former cricketer. Currently, UAE is placed at the number 14th position in the ICC T20I team ranking.
