Uganda visited Namibia for 3 T20s and 2 ODIs series in the month of April 2021. The tournament started with Namibia vs Uganda T20 series in 2021. The first T20I of the series between Namibia and Uganda was played at Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek on 3 April 2021. Uganda decided to bat first after winning the toss. The team Uganda struggled at the starting of the inning and lost wickets at regular intervals. After the end of 20 overs, Uganda had put a total of 134 runs on the scoreboard. Ronak Patel was the top scorer for them with 35 runs. The target was not so big for Namibia but they also lost some early wickets. The captain of Namibia, Gerhard Erasmus controlled the situation very well and struck a match-winning inning of 62 runs that helped them to achieve the target very comfortably in just 14.5 overs. Namibia won the 1st match and led the series by 1-0. Gerhard Erasmus was named Man of the Match.
The 2nd T20I between Namibia and Uganda was played at Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek on 5 April 2021. Namibia won the toss and decided to have the bat in hand and set the target for Uganda. Namibia wanted to win that match and sealed the series by 2-0. The start was not so good for Namibia but they anyhow had put a total of 134 runs on the scoreboard. Due to rain, the target was reduced to 86 runs in 12.4 overs. Namibia bowled very well and did not allow the visitors to settle down and stopped them at 65 runs only. Namibia won the 2nd match by 20 runs of the T20 series between Namibia and Uganda and led the series by 2-0. JJ Smit was named Man of the Match for his 40 runs.
The third and last match of the series was played at Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek on 5 April 2021. In the 3rd T20I, Namibia again won the toss and decided to set the target for visitors. They had got a nice start by their openers that helped them to reach a total of 189 runs in 20 overs. Craig Williams was awesome with the bat and struck 89 runs with one 6s and twelve 4s. Uganda needed 190 runs from 120 balls but the flop show was continued and they could make only 124 runs in 20 overs. Riazat Ali Shah hit some nice shots and contributed 33 runs from 17 deliveries but after his wicket, no one could do well and lost the match. Namibia won the 3rd match by 65 runs and Craig Williams was the Man of the Match for his outstanding 81 runs.
Namibia won Namibia vs Uganda T20 series 2021 by 3-0. CG Williams from Namibia was the highest scorer with his 95 runs and B Shikongo was the highest wicket-taker with 5 wickets in the series.
