Barbados Tridents won a low scoring match against Hawksbills - The 12th match of the Caribbean Premiere League saw Barbados Tridents hosted the Antigua Hawksbills. It was a low scoring match and in this match the home team decided to field first. In the first 2 overs the Antigua Hawksbills lost three wickets. Thestart even worsens when the team lost its fourth wicket in the sixth over of the innings. Marlon Samuels and David hussy were the man for the team as they scored most of the runs. The changing point in the match came when Jonathan Carter who seemed to be in form lost his wicket due to a run out. He played a knock of 35 runs. Soon wickets fell as team from 103/5 were curtailed to 119/8. At the end somehow the tail Enders played sensibly and managed to register yet another victory in the tournament. Carlos Brathwaite was the man for the Hawksbills as he took 2 wickets taking 17 runs. Ravi Rampaul was the man of the match for his bowling performance.
