Highveld Lions is the most successful team in the Ram Slam Tournament and also the current champion of this trophy. They first won title in the year 2006-2007 and then in the year 2012-13. They represent two teams in combined, namely: Gauteng and North West first class cricket. For Highveld Lions, their home grounds are New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg and Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. They were also runner in the championship trophy 2011-2012. Neil McKenzie, Alviro Petersen, Chris Morris, Dirk Nannes are some of the star players that are currently in this team.
