The Australia versus New Zealand ODI series is a tri-match series that will be hosted by Australia. It’s a part of the Kiwis’ tour at Down Under that started in 2019 and had its initial half in last December. After that the New Zealand team got back to home country and will return to Australia in March 2020 to play the ODI series. The upcoming ODI series will start on March 13, 2020 and will continue till March 20, 2020. The ODI series represents the esteemed Chappell-Hadlee trophy. The matches will be played in two of the most prestigious stadiums of the country, Sydney Cricket Ground and Bellerive Oval.
The initial half of the series saw Australia winning in all the three Test matches. No wonder, Aaron Finch and his team are looking forward to repeat the same glorious result with the ODI matches as well. The team currently seems to be in a great shape and is poised to attain a winning feat against the Kiwis as well. Moreover, the Aussies this time will have the support of home fans which can work wonders to motivate the home team players and increase pressure on the opponent team.
On the other side, the Kiwis too are certainly preparing to save the grace through a winning performance in the ODI series. They certainly don’t want the repetition of what happened in the Test matches in their ODI matches. In fact, the burden to bring back their lost wining glory will work as a great fillip for the New Zealand team to put their best efforts on the field. It only means that the cricket world is all set to witness a neck to neck fight in the upcoming ODI series which is a treat for any cricket lover anyday. Let’s hope the most deserving team wins.
