1st IPL T20 Match was played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders on 16th April 2014. KKR batted first and scored 163 runs in 20 overs but Mumbai Indians while chasing could only score 122 runs in their 20 over quota and thus KKK won the opening match by 41 runs. 1. Yes Bank Maximum Sixes Award - Jacques Kallis for hitting 3 sixes in the match and longest six of 91 meters. He got a cheque of Rs 1,00,000.
2. Kanna keep calm award i.e that moment of the match where the player has kept his nerves kept calm and turned the game and once again this award goes to Jacques Kallis and once again he got a cheque of Rs 1,00,000.
3. Once again, third in a row, Man of the Match award goes to Jacques Kallis with Rs 1 Lakh check.
So, all these 3 awards are won by Jacques Kallis and collection he earned Rs 3,00,000 as a cheque.
