This stadium is the multiple sports stadium and has been used to host a number of sports. The stadium is sometimes also referred as The Cake Tin because of its shape and its silver color. The stadium was constructed in the year 2000 and is owned by Wellington Regional Stadium Trust while the stadium is operated by the same authority. The stadium consists of the capacity of 36,000 spectators and possesses a number of tenants of various sports.
