Vusimuzi Sibanda

Vusi is a contemporary of Taibu and Masakadza and Stuart and like them. Comes from the township of High field and earned his ZCU scholarship to Churchill high school. He is the all rounder of the team opens the batting and an occasional off spinner. His performance is well noted but his growth was hampered by the hand injury. He started the series with a 52 and ending it with a 78 in the Tri series match final against Bermuda. He had a good club season at Sydney when he took 43 and 93 not out and registered a score of 64 against Bangladesh in February 2007, this wasn’t enough to carry him in the World cup matches. Sibanda become a good batsman when he took charge as captain for Midwest Rhinos during 2009-10 to take on Kenya in the intercontinental cup. Responding nicely he rescued his team from bad position in matches with his 116. His season tally in Logan cup is 1500 runs with average of 95 including nine hundreds. With his hard hitting ability he still has to take the team into the victory stand.
